Legal Questions
If worst comes to worst - Unbureaucratic support with liability and insurance questions. If an alternative agreement has not been concluded between the parties, the version of the text of General Conditions on Forwarding issued by the Association of Hungarian Forwarding Logistics Providers on 10 August is applicable (http://www.szallitmanyozok.hu/). By signing the Forwarding contract, the commissioning party reinforces that they are aware of and explicitly accept the terms and conditions of forwarding.
If, pursuant to Point 1, the forwarder is liable for transport, the following liability restrictions apply:
CMR- Convention (international road freight traffic)
8,33 SDR, i.e., approx. 9,3,- EUR / kilogram loss or damages
Warsaw Convention (international air freight traffic)
16,67 SDR / kilogram loss or damages
Haag / Visby Rules (international sea freight traffic)
2 SDR / kg vagy 666,67 SDR maximum compensation per unit lost or damaged..
EBG/CIM (railway goods traffic)
EBG: EUR 36,34 / kg
CIM: 17 SZR/ kilogram loss or damages.
1 SDR = ca. EUR 1,1. Special drawing rights of the International Currency Fund. The rate is subject to slight variations. The current rate of the day can be inquired from the National Bank or retrieved by logging: http://www.imf.org/external/np/tre/sdr/drates/0701.htm
