Gebrüder Weiss opens new office in Thailand

"The foundation of Weiss-Röhlig Thailand Ltd. is another important step into the South Eastern direction", says Joe Lässer, Air & Sea director. The head of the new office in the capital city is the Australian Bill Meale. Meale worked as sales representative in Thailand during the past six years and excels with high expertise and comprehensive knowledge of the market. "Two essential success factors playing an important role in particular in dynamic markets such as the Thailand market", says Lässer. The air- and sea-freight expert is convinced that "Our internationally manned team has excellent, long-term market knowledge. I think this is the best basis".

Gebrüder Weiss also benefits worldwide from the new subsidiary's foundation. Thailand is well known as an export country.  "However, the last few years showed that import gains more and more importance. I am glad to say that we are now in the position to guarantee our customers the usual high level Gebrüder Weiss quality also in Thailand", added Lässer.
