Fuel Surcharge
The worldwide increasing fuel surcharge made it neccesary to meet these growing costs on clients
Fuel price is on peak, almost 40 HUF fuel price growth in a half year.
30-40 percent of the costs of shipping companies is the fuel and it's price has gone up with 30%, which means a 10-12-percentage increasing of expenses. The state won't influence the retail price of benzin or fuel with measures like reducing of income tax, that is why the suppliers have to burden their additional costs to their clients.
The Gebrüder Weiss Forwarding and Logistics Ltd. invoices fuel surcharges for it's clients from 01.02.2008 in domestic relations, from 01.05.2008 in international relations. The surcharge will be revised monthly and according to the surcharge table's basis modified up or down.
